I was told that I had a photoshoot in London, – says Kira. – Arriving at the hotel, I went down to the lobby, and there was this oligarch. He invited me to his home and said that the shooting would take place there. I still remember the site’s address where he, as I later found out, arranges orgies with 14-16-year-old girls. I immediately told him that I was a virgin, but that did not stop him. He raped me and threw me out into the street. After that, he never contacted me again. At that time, I was only 15 years old.
Kira admits that, unlike other girls, she has never publicly talked about her devastating experience. She didn’t want to be pitied. Now I want to draw attention to this issue, – Kira sighs. – To what is happening behind the high fences of someone’s luxurious villas, in luxurious hotel rooms and presentable apartments. You cannot imagine how 14-16-year-old girls feel in such situations as they go through this experience. Children should not be abused. Therefore, I urge you to raise the age of consent in Russia to 17 years. I plan to apply to the United Nations with this proposal to be enshrined at the legislative level and applies to Russia, the United States, and other countries. Even in Europe, there are countries where the age of consent is 14 years old – these are Germany, Austria, Italy, and Portugal.
At the moment, Kira Dikhtyar collaborates with the American organization SURVIVORS INITIATIVE, headed by one of the victims of the American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sexual exploitation of minors. Epstein pleaded guilty to having sex with thirty-six underage girls. He was later arrested for trafficking in children and was found dead in his cell in 2019 (according to the official version, it was suicide).
“When I first came to America at the age of 17, Jeffrey Epstein seemed like an angel to me,” says Kira. – He knew about what happened to me at the age of 15. And he never touched me.
