Kira Dikhtyar is an International Top Model, actress, a rhythmic gymnast who represented the Russian Federation in international sports arenas.
Kira was born on March 17, 1995, in Moscow, Russia. She became involved in rhythmic gymnastics from a very early age and became a “Master of Sports” (the highest level of achievement in sports) by 14.
Kira received Gold Medals in both sports and academics. At 11, she was accepted to school #22 – a specialty school for athletically gifted children that she graduated magna cum laude. After graduating from high school, she was admitted to Moscow State University, where she studied Geopolitics.
At the age of 16, Kira decided to end her gymnastics career. At the age of 17, she traveled to the United States to pursue a career as a fashion model. Kira’s modeling career began in Los Angeles, where she did a variety of sports ads. She was initially signed by Photogenics Model Management, a boutique top-modeling agency run by Nicole Bordeaux.
Kira Dikhtyar’s first significant modeling job was a photo shoot for Abercrombie and Fitch by photographer Bruce Weber. Legendary photographer Ellen Von Unworth did Kira’s first iconic editorial for the Italian Vogue Magazine called “In Great Shape.” In this editorial, Kira Dikhtyar combined her passion for sports and fashion.
Kira has been featured on the covers of major fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, L’Officiel, Glamour, In Style, GQ, Elle, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Noise, Marie Claire, FHM, Maxim, and many others. Kira has worked worldwide with recognized masters of fashion photography such as Patrick Demarchelier, Rankin, Tony Duran, and Francesco Carrozzini.
In 2014, Kira Dikhtyar participated in the hit fashion reality show “The Face” on the Oxygen Network channel, hosted by the legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell, Anne V, and Lydia Hearst. Having gained fame on the popular show, Kira signed on the campaign for the most prominent Russian trading network, The Snow Queen, and American brands such as Living Proof, Noir, Kooba handbags, Antonio Maretti, Alice & Olivia, and many others.
Kira Dikhtyar is also a founder of a production company, “90-60-90,” filming fashion events and producing music videos like Tyga’s “Servin’ Dat Raw.” She starred in the movie “Making the Day” opposite Steven Randazzo. Kira, also, starred in a new reality show, “Model Moms,” produced with model and actress Eugenia Kuzmina. The two were inspired by the legendary Ari Emanuel, who gave his advice to make this show.
Kira also starred in the movie “Making the Day” opposite Steven Randazzo which was premiered as part of the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival in San Jose (California) in March 2021.
Today, Kira Dikhtyar is actively working with media outlets and representatives in the United Nation on promoting the idea of raising the legal age of consent for entering into intimate relationships to 17-18 years old not only in Russian Federation but also in other countries around the world.
